Teradata is an enterprise software company that develops and sells a relational database management system (RDBMS) with the same name. Teradata Active Enterprise Data Warehouse, often called Teradata Database, includes data management tools and data mining software. Teradata's product can be used for business analysis. Their data warehouses can track company data, such as sales, customer preferences, product placement, etc. The data warehouse differentiates between “hot and cold” data – the warehouse sort data that is not often used into a slower storage section. Heroku is a cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that supports several programming languages and is used as a web application deployment model. Heroku supports Java, Node.js, Scala, Clojure, Python, PHP, and Go. D+A's experience with AWS led us to building applications for our customers on the Heroku platform. D+A has also worked with Oracle Eloqua and Salesforce.com who have used Heroku to validate some of the apps that the D+A team had developed prior to publishing in the marketplace.
Python is a widely used high-level programming language. Python features a dynamic type system and automatic memory management and supports multiple programming paradigms, including object-oriented, imperative, functional programming, and procedural styles. Similar to our Java services, D+A provides custom coding and application development in Python. Most notably, we use Python to offer options for web development or for cloud-based integration connections such as those used in Zapier.
